The warrior is the battlefield taxi of the UK soldier . The idea of it is to transport a section of infantry ( + / - 10 men with complete equipment ) in safety. The vehicle has the capability to follow the main battle tank ( challenger 2 ) through the battlefield. The development started in the latte 1960 and the full production started in the mid 1970 at the Alvis factory.
The warrior has a amour of choppenham steel and a 30mm gun as main armament with a 17.4 liter cc and a weighed of 25 .5 tons he can get up to a speed of 75 km/h . There is a complete family of the warrior for transport, REME, ambulance , battlefield reconnencens, etc
