Hi i'm 19 5'10'' about 200 lbs and was wondering how much calories i need per day to function or a good way to determine that a rough estimate would be nice. As for physical activity i work out 3 days a week at the gym and run the days i don't work out except for sundays which is church days. As for other exercise the only other thing is walking around for classes mon - fri. Currently i'm taking protein shakes every night and every morning which is adding about 1000 calories to my diet, but since i'm in college It's hard for me to get enough protein so this is about the only way. as for the rest of the day i try to only consume 1,400 calories, but i'm almost certain at 2,400 calories a day i won't be losing much weight which is my goal.
