I am going over to a new boyfriend of mine and he has really dry skin on his back, neck legs and arms and do you think I should be pampering him, and covering him with lotion head to toe until his skin is just right?

Need some advice here =)

Use baby oil right after taking a shower.

If you're going to do the massaging... Try Alba Very Emollient lotion. You can find this at a health foods store and at Whole Foods. If his skin is really dry, try mixing a little olive oil with the lotion and massage it into his skin.
But first try exfoliating and then moisturizing right after a shower or bath.

If he doesn't care about any of these "beauty rituals", you may have to accept this and try to get beyond his dry skin.

Take care..

My hubby has dry skin on the same areas. If his skin his bumby too, it means his skin isn't exfoliating naturally like it should. Look into getting bath and lotion products with lactic acid, which removes dead skin and moisturizes the new skin underneath.

Also check out Breezy Beach Wear's new bath line, Beachy Clean. They are un-veiling their new line of freshly sliced bars this week on their website. The chocolate indulgence bar, coco-nutty bar, and oatmeal sugar cookie bar are great for dry skin. They all include Vitamin E and coconut oil. They also have sugar to gently exfoliate.

I've had dry skin all my life and have tried everything under the sun. While it won't completely go away, the best you can do is use a product that will work 24 hrs. For this I swear by "Body Butter for very dry skin" from the Body Shop. Good luck!

you can try to get him to start using lotion, or if he thinks that is too girlie the suggest giving him a massage with lotion that is for extremely dry skin or try getting him a humidifier

He needs some lotion that don't smell too girly. And he can put it on himself. He's a big boy.
