I have Packet8 for 14 month now, and I never had any trouble with them!!! I had no clue what I was in for, but its really easy to set up! just plug the base-phone into the computer modem...plug all your extensions into electrical outlets in other rooms, also use 1 bluetooth, and go!!! its 19.99 a month...and also get a free softfone/with webcam....free...
I got 1 Uniden base-phone( with build-in router) free, and 1 uniden extensions...free...I later purchased several more extension and 1 bluetooth...I also have E911...for 1.99 charge a month!

and the features are great....my cellphone is set up with my homephone number...so it rings at the same time...you never have to give out your cellphone number...I like that!

I really don't know all the VOIP companies. I do know Netzero has a FREE VOIP that I have used a couple of times,
