I feel the same way when I walk into my office building. My job is so repetitive, and it doesn't give me a challenge anymore. The whole reason why i'm still there is for the medical/dental benefits, education reimbursement, and it pays me really well.

Once i'm finished with school, i'm so outta there!

I feel your pain bro!

I only dread going to work on Mondays. I'm not very good at any kind of change at all and the transition from the weekend is hard for me. I don't know why you dread work. You might have the same problem or you might have a mean boss or maybe it's social anxiety or maybe you're a perfectionist or you hate your job. Maybe you're depressed or think that you aren't good at what you do. There are a lot of reasons you could dread going to work and only you can know for sure which reasons apply to you and find solutions.

Yes i dread going to work. I hate when its monday cos that means i have to go work. As for me the reason is i don't like what i do, i don't enjoy wat i do everyday, eventhough i try to tell myself that i should like what i am doing deep down inside i still feel the hatred. Ask yourself whether u enjoy what u do? I think u don't like ur job that's the reason u dread going to work. There are 2 options .First is u can change the way u feel abt ur current job try to like what u do.Second if u really don't like ur job then look for another job and make sure that the job that u find gives u job satisfaction besides the salary and benefits cos in the end that's what really matters.

I must say that I was once in your shoes. I now have a job that I love and I absolutely enjoy going to work. The funny thing is that I work nights for the first time and I still enjoy going....so I know I must love my job. Many people get jobs based on pay, status, friends, and peer pressure, and that is how people end up unhappy. Keep in mind the next time you get a job, that your happiness should also be taken into consideration.

its called job burn out. do yourself a favor and just look to see what else is available. sometimes it works out for the best -- you get a better job and make more money. sometimes you have to settle for a little less. decide how much less you can live on and if it will make up for the switch. often we are given bad advice our whole lives and listen to it too intentlly. do what you like and don't be so worried about making the bucks. in case you haven't noticed people chasing the money aren't making it any faster than anyone else. they are just a lot more miserable.

Do you like your job? Do you like the people you work with? I think if you don't like what you do as a job, or you don't like the people you work with those could be some pretty big reasons.

I used to hate going to work because I didn't like dealing with rude customers, so I got a job where I didn't have to deal with them so much, and I love going to work now.

When it comes to the point I no longer like my job or career, I start a new one. I don't like working mornings so I don't. This is not a dress rehearsal. If you don't like what you are doing then make a change, life is to be enjoyed not endured.
