Yes it is a sin because it does not glorify God. Any other type of sexual activity other than between man and wife is considered sin. Sex is a God given gift to those who are married and he does not want us to abuse it. You must learn to control your desires and temptations.
1 Cor: 7:9 But if they can't control themselves, they should go ahead and marry. It's better to marry than to burn with lust.
