You must have heard it... the woman moans because the toilet seat is up?.. is it too complicated to put it down themselves? You never hear a man complaining that he has to lift the seat up...
This is one of those arguements that set some women off on one... why??? Would they rather the man leave the seat down and wee over it? I could understand if that happened.
Should we men start a campaign to urge women to either stop complaining about trivial nothingness or should we make a deal... men put the seat down when we finish and women put the seat up when they finish? ..do you think it would work or do you think the same women who complain would moan about having to lift the seat up??
You tell me...... as I need the toilet now ;o)

you got it right, why should us guys have to do the double touch on the toilet! up before and down after.
forget that, in this day and age with equality issues all around i think that if guys have to put it down then women have to put it up!
Silly females think they can control us....

I am a woman and i agree with you! If i moan because the toilet seat is up doesn't it follow that my significant other would have the right to complain that i leave it down?
Actually, he puts the seat and the lid down which i find kinda weird, but life is far too short to winge about nothing, we all have more pressing issues!!
My question would be this - how can a guy not pee through the hole in the seat? Is it not big enough? Can guys not aim well enough for this?

Charlie. I am married man and i assume you are too. As men it is our job to make our women comfortable. As you know, when a woman has to go a woman has to go!!! When they are doing their pee walk to the toilet they don't want to and shouldn't have to put the toilet seat down. It is such a small thing that we can do for our ladies, so be a good guy a lift the seat when you go and put it down when you leave.

im confused! have no idea whats going on here :S
anyways, theres a toilet seat and a lid right. well you should put the lid down before flushing the toilet, thats what it is here for, so the water doesnt splash all over out of the toilet :)
so the next person would come and find both the seat and lid down! and if they sit on the lid in a sleepy state, then oh well!!

Who cares, if a man put it up takes about a
second, and if the women does not like it well
she can leave it up and do her thing in the cold,
then maybe she will take it down, or you can
do like they do overseas take the seat off as
many public place has no seat for bacteria
reasons. No matter what you can not please
all the people all of the time.

Im a woman & I do not moan I lift the seat up after I have used it
as I do not like sitting on a wet seat which men seem to leave.

In our house the loo seat and lid have to be down, its very bad Feng Shui to have the lid and seat up when not in use as your allowing your money to go down the pan, nothing to do with it been a man or women thing for us.

When using a toilet where you have to lift the seat i think its only fair that the man has to put it up and down because we dont have to put it up for any reason only the man does that is also why they make toilets just for men so u dont have to lift up the seats. If you put the seat up you should put it back down its just plan manners.

I think we should all learn to pee standing up! How cool would that be?
Anyways, you're very right. A man has to haul it up, yet he can't complain about that. I think it's because we see the 'down' position as being the natural one, where it should be if the toilet is not in use. Even though overall I could care less. Let's just go do our business!

There is nothing worse than sitting down on a cold toilet rime in the night.
Toilet seats left up are far worse for women than a toilet seat left down is for a man.
