Ok, I'm going against the grain here. The dirty talk/phone sex is a nice idea, sure...you might want to try a little of that, but maybe you're uncomfortable with that (or maybe not). The webcam idea is a great one, but if you cant do that, take some digi pics of yourself and mail them to him along w/ a sexy letter.
This way he has something he can hold on to and look at when he's not near a computer or a phone....you might even want to do a strip tease of sorts...taking a picture every time you take off an article of clothing. In the letter, tell him about what you want to do to him the next time you see him.
The only problem with this is the postal system is not perfect. To ensure that no one at the post office sees these pics, you might want to put them in an envelope, and then pay for the extra shipping on a box with the envelope inside.

I think it really depends on how long you've been together... Personally, if i'd just gotten with a chick within a month or so, and she, out of the blue, started talking dirty over the phone, I"d be creeped out. Just tease him a little bit, don't be so obvious about it. Make it so he can't wait to come home to see what you're all about.
