Oh gosh... I'll have to think about that. Probably that my child is going to kill himself once he realizes he has a godless, evil, heathen mother. Or that I'm going to kill my son because I'm an atheist and obviously, therefore, must be amoral and sick and ready to lash out at the drop of a pin because there's nothing to hold me back.

Then there's the ever popular:

"You don't deserve to live in God's world if you're going to mock him"
"You don't count as a human being"
"Your opinion doesn't matter because you couldn't possibly understand if you don't have faith"
"You must be a sex fiend / drug user / heavy drinker / adulterer / gambler / liar"
And the ever condescending: "I'll pray for you"

Even though I'm a good person my next life will be nothing but punishment and torment, I replied, "At least I'll be with all my friends".

"I'll pray for you."

For me it's nasty because it's condescending. Sticks and stones may break my bones, etc. so abusive words mean nothing to me. But the person who says "I'll pray for you" doesn't even mean to be insulting. Which makes it worse.

The most arrogant line I've heard is..."Well, why aren't you a Christian?"
As if something was wrong with me.

"You're immoral." And this was not nasty for the accusation itself, because I know I'm not. It was nasty because of the person who said it to me. He knew me well to know I'm not immoral, but he let his religious blinkers blind him and he said this to me.
