we all have a purpose and we work to live, we live to love and we love because of God. This life has a purpose. and our purpose is to Love God, Know him better, Take care of his creation and tell others about him. life is worth living when we finally realize that we are special in God's sight and life becomes meaningful when we are able to accept ourselves. I belive that life is purposive because if life was did not have any purpose then we would never have existed. So remember that life has a purpose, you are here because you have a purpose, and your life has purpose because you are unique and different from any other person in this world because God made you special -------with an important mission in life. God Bless!

Good question!!!

If you were to read a book and the last page had no meaning to the entire book you've been reading, then would you say the book had a purpose?

So I think just as a hammer has a purpose and a car has a purpose, to make the most of our lives we should know our purpose in life. ^_^ Hope that helps, God bless.

I don't believe there is an outside purpose in life. I don't believe we are born with a mission, and we have to spend our lives trying to fulfill it. I believe we are all just born, as a biological phenomenon. But then, as rational and emotional beings, we actually give our lives a purpose. So, there is no given, natural or divine purpose. The purpose depends on what you want from life.

God created human beings to:
1. Take care of their surroundings.
2. Take care of the animals and plants.
3. Discover new things
4. Join Him in heaven later.
Now, do you believe life is purposive?

There is no purpose to life. Just do your best to avoid doing harm to yourself and other beings and have as much fun as you can. Once you are dead, that's it. So make the most of being alive.

Obviously, the purpose of our lives is to follow whatever pursuits we want...

The thing that makes life worth living is our enthusiasm for those pursuits...

When people are no longer enthusiastic about their pursuits, life becomes less worth living...

The purpose of life is goodness which God has prepared, as what is written in Ephesians 2:10-- "For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, wchich God hath before ordained that we should walk in them."

We are God's workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them. Our life was meant to do good and to be partakers in the goodness which GOD has prepared. Life given by God is very valuable and should be used in accordance with the intent of the Creator. Let us read Ecclesistes 12:13--

"Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man."

If there is a meaningful end for our lives it must end in fearing the Lord and keeping His commandments, for that is our whole duty as man. Living in a life in accordance with God's will is living a life fearing Him and obeying His commandments.
