I knew this gal 6 years ago..when I hinted abt my feelings 4 her..she said lets be friends..which I really did and year in year out, tried my best to be friends..but we are more of acquintances than any thing else...6 years on, I met other gals but none r able 2 impact me as deeply as her...really like her but she has a bf..looking back: din really told her how she really matter to me...juz forget her??or??

I think that you must forget about her ,you mustn't be a martyr , just concentrate on someone else!

She have already give you her answer so just forget about her and be her friend instead. If you insist to be her bf, I think she may not even want to be your friend. When you really want to start a new relationship with other girls you have to take them as individual and not compare them to your lady friend.
By comparing other girls with your friend, I believe it is not fair to the other girls coz everybody have their own character and they should not change themselves to suit your requirement

Well that doesn't mean she is married. So give it a try, let her know how you feel. And then the ball is in her court. If she doesn't contact you then you know to forget her and you are left with a really nice memory of her to think back on.

its becos wen u mit other girls,u wanted them to measure up to your crush.stop doing this and you will fall for the other girls' potential.forget about this girl.she already make it clear that she only wanted to be friends with you.once a girl decided you fall into the 'friend' category,she wont change her mind.
