The "past life" phenomenon is actually pretty interesting. I have no idea if there's any truth in it, but there are a lot of testimonies from people who claim some children at a very young age can recall memories from when they previously lived -- like, all of a sudden they'll blurt out "I was her mommy" or "I lived there before." Maybe those kinds of comments are the result of an overactive imagination or something like that, but they're pretty startling for the parents to hear at any rate. There might be some truth in "past lives" but the testimonials need to be investigated a lot more.

No, I really don't. Reincarnation, the afterlife and so on are just fables that we invent to soothe the pain of being on earth for only a few decades. But I, for one, would rather accept the truth and take the most of those 80-100 years I'm going to be here...

No, we do not have many past lives. I use to believe that until I found God and realized we have only one life here on earth. People who believe in past lives don't realize it is satan tricking us again so that we turn away from what the Bible really teaches.

Scripture says, "It's appointed unto man once to die" but perhaps there IS "one death" after many continuing lives. Strange when you've been someplace you've supposedly never been before but know exactly where you're going, which street to turn on, etc.
The jury's still out on this one.
