i would say anytime after thanksgiving since the day after kicks off the holiday season at least for shopping

I love Christmas and I think any time after 1st October is fine to put up Christmas lights!! My husband and I actually put up lights from 1st December but I am always hassling him to put them up earlier! Christmas is such a sparkly happy time that I think you should put them up now if you want to! :)

In my opinion at the very earliest 1st December. We usuaually put them up within the first couple of weeks, my neighbours have theirs up already and it looks silly. Christmas starts far to early now and means you get bored of it by Christmas Day!

Put them up whenever you want, I adore Christmas and i cant wait to start putting up my decorations but i wait till December but if you have spent lots of money buying lights for out side then put them up and get your moneys worth. I love this time of year when trees and lights start popping up one by one. If you want them up them put them up, who cares what all them Grinch's out there think.. I bet once you put yours up all your neighbours will follow suit. Happy Christmas x

If you're superstitious, sometime after December 1st. That is what a customer told me when he asked me to put lights up for him. He is booked in for early December.

You can actually put them up anytime you are ready to. The tradition in our family is we start decorating the weekend before Thanksgiving and burn them for the 1st time Thanksgiving Night.

nobody says you have to turn them on! Put them up whenever you feel like it....If I had alot to put up, I would start early, why not....why rush to get them up, why not put up some when the weather is nice, instead of doing it and your hands freezing. That way you don't feel rushed, and can always add more if you like, instead of trying to cram it all into one day.....
