If so, what difficulties do you face ?

It's difficult in that our supposedly secular government is stomping on the separation of church and state when they should be upholding it. It's difficult in that religious doctrine and dogma is being legislated, that morality alone is being written into law when it shouldn't be. It's difficult because in many places professed atheists cannot even hold public office or testify in court. It's difficult to deal with being held to a much higher standard than all the religious folk who are barely confronted at all for believing one thing or another.

Depends. I live in the bible belt so there are very few here who are tolerant of people like me. It is hard sometimes to find friends who want to be around an atheist or agnostic. Lots of baptist here in this small town. Other than that we don't have it difficult yet. Hope the time never comes, I think that probably young children at school might have a hard time of it in an area like this.

There are many problems for atheists. However much the religions preach acceptance of others, religious people are of the most intolerant people on the planet.
