Single, male, 33, MBA (USA) -

1) Unfortunately the bible was misstated and this is obvious (old and the new testimony) but many people decline this because they dont want to know the truth or they dont want a new turn in their lives. They just can't accept the idea easily and change their grandparents religion. The only thing you can disapprove the Bible is by comparing the different bibles spreading all over the world. You will see the differences then. The truth about the right religion needs some research and some work. The last religion "Islam" is the most interested religion that was not misstated and actually this is one of its miracles till this moment.

2) Yes 100% - and many words were deleted or misrepresented!
3) N/A
4) The problem is that though you can find some truth in the bible but it is not completed any more. Many texts were changed or/and deleted.
5) You will never know! The bible is misrepresented by its people.
6) Yes
7) YES
8) You will never know ever (every one claim he has the right one!!)
9) No one is true (every church says that it holds the right bible - misstated text)
10) Yes but you have to find the true religion (evidences) first and follow these words.

A comment: I was asking so many questions regarding the right religion and what was more interesting than the other is the Islam. Actually it is the only religion that guarantee you that you will go to hell if you did not follow its principles!

Age 35. Female. In a Live-In Relationship. Education HS.
We don't, it is my opinion the Bible is the word of god. He didn't actually write it. No, it was written from a vision and the guy actually spoke to God. Every word. We don't know if we have all of Gods truth's. So many people have claimed to have actually talked to God, we don't know if they really did. It's his word against whoever. Yes, I've heard of lost writings. No, Stenographers. You have to take what you read in the Bible and apply it how you see fit. Yes, you can get help in understanding what the bible really says, but it's always someone else's translation. Yes, equally True. Last question, an answer is within you, not others. If God answers you, it comes as a feeling of right or wrong.

I pick question 7. In Islam, the prophet of Muhammad went to a place which is upper than the seven sky to meet the God. The God told Muhammad to tell the people on the earth to pray to him 50 times a day. When Muhammad came down, he met with Musa, also a prophet. He told Muhammad to reproduce the number less than 50. So Muhammad went up again and met with the God. He told the God why he came again and the God reproduce the number to 5.Muhammad came down and met Musa. He told Musa that the God had told him to pray 5 times a day. But Musa still didn't feel satisfied and told Muhammad to go up again. But Muhammad refused. So until now, the Muslims pray to the God 5 times a day. I hope you understand what I'm trying to tell you.

1 I don't. Every waiting there ever was is the author's interpretation. When I read it, it is my interpretation, always different.
2 yes
3 idea
4 we don't. The books of the bible were chosen from among hundreds. We can never know all of God's truth as He is the Creator all things; to claim knowledge of all things is to claim we know as much as God.
5 We don't. Again, writings of the Bible chosen from among hundreds.
6 no
7 We can't. Every translation either adds to or loses meaning.
8 yes
9 yes, equally unreliable, including mine.
10 Definitely, either yes, no, or I don't know-pray on it.

You step out in faith and believe. No they were told what to write. Yes every word. Again you must step out on faith. We don't know for sure but we have to let God guide us. No. Yes they wrote what they were told to write. Because there are so many religious beliefs you need to decide which one you feel is the closes to what you believe in and again step out in faith , not by sight. I think so. I believe that all religions are very close to what God wants us to know and learn, I believe that there will be only one church and that will be when Christ returns and takes his people home. We do ; there in the bible and in order to understand them all and to know them all you should go to church and listen to what your preacher says and is trying to teach you. And for the record, John wrote the book of Revelations and there are things he was showen by God that will happen but was told NOT to write it down so he didn't. God has his reasons for it and John obeyed; so should we.
