ok he always likes to take my books and go through them. when we leave the art room after class he puts tape on my back. when he sees me in the halls he smiles and says haha. or says something about my dog. when we are in art he never shuts up. does he like me?

I would say "yes" but it sounds like he has a hard time expressing it. He talks to you in Art because he feels comfortable in that surrounding but out in the hallway he is uncertain. I wish you good luck.

These reasons are not enough to tell someone that if a person likes you or not. May be he's just your friend? Or may be he likes you and trying to come closer to you by doing such stuff. It’s not clear yet. You need to wait & watch the situation. Keep you daily routine going on, only time will tell the name of your relationship with him.

You like him, that is why you make him react to you, the way he is going about will soon definately make him become your pet, he sure is taken by you. Teasing a girl and trying to irritate her is fascination, bordering on affection.

Yes, i think he likes you. But make sure that his ideas and thoughts matche you. Usually emotions are nice but could be disaster when we dicover later on that this is not the right perosn.
