Definitely NOT on December 25th. Let me explain.
I would venture to say that He was a Firstborn of Spring, around late March to early April... that would have been the opportune time when the all the snow would have melted, the cold weather would have thawed by then, and the signs of early Spring abounded as new grass started to grow, and the trees began to blossom with leaves again, and the wildflowers were all in bloom. The weather was crisp and the night skies were clear and cloudless, all glittered with stars as far as you can see.
That would have been the best time for all the shepherds to bring out their flocks from their barns, to roam the land and to feed on the grassy meadows, and even to camp out and spend the nights outdoors themselves... That's about the time when a band of shepherds noticed a bright shining star that one starry night!
There's simply NO WAY that such an event would have happened in the dead of Winter! December 25?? No way!!
In fact, if truth be told, December 25 was a Roman holiday--as a culmination of the two-week festival called "Saturnalia" [a time of debauchery, revelling and gift-giving]-- celebrating the birth of Mithras, the son of their Sun god. So there.
LOL.
Peace be with you...

Well, we know according to the Jewish calendar of 6 months (each month lasting 2 of our "regular calendar" months) that he was 1/2 a year younger than his first cousin, John the Baptist. John the Baptist was born around March-April in the Jewish Calendar. So, this would put his cousin Yeheshua (Jesus) birth around September-October.
If Christ Jesus died at 33.5 (or 33 1/2) years old, that would put his death in March-April, which is when Passover was/is and when Christ Jesus TOLD HIS APOSTLES TO CELEBRATE HIS death once, each year.
The reason people believe it is in December 25th is because Noah's great-grandson Nimrod (the first King in all the earth) was married to Semiramis. When he died in a hunting accident, she had herself declared a "Virgin Queen" and her Unborn Baby a God. When the Baby of the King was born she then sacrificed the young "God" to the "Sun" on December 25th, his name was "Tammuz." Later generations called him by many other names, such as Dammuzi, Saturnalia, etc. His symbol was the T and Semiramis was then crowned Queen of Heaven. When Constantine was Emperor and wanted all of Rome and the surrounding countries to become Christian (he just wanted all one religion for peace reasons, its not that he was truly christian) he had the Roman tradition of Saturnalia incorporated into Christmas and made a pagan holiday into a "Christian one." It is in NO WAY a christian holiday.

Actually, I saw this in a documentary. Some biblical scholars believe that Jesus's birth occurred in the month of June because that is when taxes were due, etc during that time. So that is when everyone would be going to Jerusalem, to pay their taxes, get counted in the census, all that. We supposedly celebrate his birth in December because that's when the Catholic church decided we should, that we needed a celebration in December, and that's what they decided we would celebrate.

i was doing some research on the origins of christmas and it talked about how there is no reference to when Jesus was really born in the bible. people have tried to figure it out based on what rulers were ruling at the time and how long they had been ruling, since the bible says some about that. but they say he was probably born sometime in the fall. christmas is just from pagan traditions, and the catholic church wanted to take the pagans in so they made the end of a pagan celebration week thing, december 25th, "jesus' birthday". here's a website that talks about all that. very interesting!

conceived in March, heart begun to beat in April viable within the womb in October and born in December-Christ fills time and in the month he was conceived his numbers in charts I created gives us 12x6
6 as a digit means prophetic significance, he was all so the most prophetic
Christ has perfect relevance to time too, feel free to look in my 360 to read more-its a very complicated theory of theories but with time spent reading (lots) you'll see just how much Christ is filling time
Some have said he wasn't born on 25th December, yet the 25 makes a 7, perfect relevance to the 7 created between him being conceived and his heart beginning to beat. 7 is energy plus it is East, where the sun first rises...

He was born when it was warm enough for the shepherds to be out at night with their sheep, and during the time when citizens were required to go to their home towns to be taxed. Various research has been done on the matter, and various dates have been put forth, but I believe the most correct would be approximately April 6.

how could anyone know, when the christians were attempting to convert the pagans they just took all of the pagan holidays and slapped some christian holidays over the top so that it was easier to convert them, so when you all celebrate jesus' birthday you're actually celebrating yule! a pagan holiday ! =)
