Serj, have you ever seen that movie, The Horse Whisperer?
It's about a high-spirited horse that threw a little girl who was riding him (killing her, I think.) People thought the horse should be put down, but the owners heard about a man who "talked" to horses, got through to them, through long periods of patient interaction, to gentle them.
I see God's love as being similar to the love of the Horse Whisperer. God doesn't owe us a DANG thing, Serj. We're all just puny creatures, and God doesn't have trouble wiping millions of us out at the same time with plagues and natural disasters. There's an afterlife. God is fair, but sometimes people have to wait til then to see the accounts settled. God's fairness though, has to do with his character, his kindness and NOT on anything He owes us.
God, like the Horse Whisperer, also reaches out tenderly to tame us. The Horse Whisperer understood horses, actually loved horses, and that love was returned. God understands people because he became a person (Jesus Christ.) People who have experienced God in this way persist in testifying to a God who is loving. They tell about him because they also love him, the way the horse loves the Horse Whisperer.

dude your blaming god for war and sickness and famine, right? people blame god because we are so brainwashed with the fact that if you turn to god he will heal all wounds, answere all your questions, make all your problems go away. imsorry but i dont believe that that is what god is all about. i dont have all the answeres but this is what i feel kay. god helps those that help themselves. believing god is a state of being. there are always those little nagging voices that tell you what to do. like your gut instinct, or a conversation that gets randomly started about a problem you just so happen to have. it is up to us to rely on us . stop worrying so much where we are all going to end up in the end. i wish the christian extremists would stop ruining it for the rest if us that have gotten a relationship with god that goes so much further than a book or brick walls can provide. like jesus said love one another. be at peace. live your lives and walk with god litterally like he was at your side and stop thinking that church and a few written words is key to true salvation. actions speek louder than words. i hope i helped friend. if you ever want to talk email me at skysmama77@yahoo.com. i think we could learn alot from one another.

because we know Him personally, and He knows us personally, not only does He know the desires of our hearts, He also desires for us to have them, He loves us unconditionally, no matter how stupid we are , or how many mistakes we make, He will always forgive us, and until you have Him in your heart and feel Him , ;you cannot possibly understand your own question, i pray that God will touch you in a way that you will know what it is like to be truly loved.

1. god is omniscient
2. god is omnipresent
3. god is omnipotent
4. god created all
so if something bad happens god knows it will happen, will be there when it happens AND has the ability to stop it....yet he does nothing.
and since god is the cause of all things he is directly responsible...yet again he does nothing..
but OH HES GO GOOD AND GREAT AND blah....honestly i think its just a*s kissing in hopes to improve their standings and get a better chance of going into heaven.
the reality of the matter is there is no heaven....and theyre wasting their time.
