I've answered several of your questions, before.

This one looks easiest, to me.

You'll be angry for awhile longer...... .......the anger you feel about YOUR situation will only be overwhelmed by the anger that replaces it....... .......the "righteous" anger you will eventually feel as you begin to find yourself healing..... ....and begin to take on other people's battles..... .......and fighting for THEM.

Your frustration is SOOOOOOOOO normal..........I hope you are NEVER satisfied to be in a wheelchair....... ........keeping your body healthy and sound will prove INVALUABLE as medical researchers work 24/7 to help heal your type of injury.

As you gain your strength and skills............you'll feel less overwhelmed.

Wanting faith and HAVING faith are both the same, to me.

BUT, remember..... .....as we change, so our type/style of faith changes...... ......it's just usually at a slower and more manageable pace than your situation these last 16 months. DON'T expect your faith and hopes and expectations to be the same, now........ .....God may be a steady force in life..........but WE change, grow and fail constantly.

If you WANT faith you HAVE faith....... ........NOW just proclaim it, investigate it....... ......and USE it !!!!!!!

peace

you're still alive, right? What was your faith before the accident? Christian, Muslim, Hindu...? maybe you need to reexamine what you believe in, figure out WHY you believed it. Me, I've been in a similar situation, where I just completely lost my faith. But gradually, it came back to me, because for me, I think my faith is where I belong, and so no matter the anguish I go through, I know I'll still have it, sometimes whether I like it or not lol maybe there's a lesson to be learned, or maybe you helped someone else to learn a lesson. What I do when I get angry at my spiritual teacher, is I (very literally) curse him out. I pray and I curse him so badly, yelling at him for why he lets such crud happen, and gradually, I just, feel better lol but that's because I believe that God, doesn't judge me, no matter what I do, and that he just loves me through thick and thin, and that whatever happens that is outside of my control, sometimes in my control, is for the best. Hang in there, hon. *hug* try different churches, explore a bit, and sit back and just, think about why you had the faith you did before the accident. What made you believe?

This is an undocumented search. The how and when is left up to you. I am sure if you want opinions from people they can come in by the millions from here and special type message board for such topics.

Anyway I suggest keeping it sacred and keep your mind open. Don't limit your process and methods. Somepeople have stated the level of sense being extremly increased when a feeling or sense is lost.

I will leave you with one last not that I have done. When I ponder and debate about thing sI will exoress my thoughts too God as well as broadcasting my feelings so to speak.

That's f**king horrible Soledad. I'm so terribly sorry. I feel awful suggesting things to you since I think we both know that no one idea is really perfect. Gods *do* fail us, there's no doubt about that in my mind, at least.

You may want to think a bit about Existentialism. There's some great introductory books on existentialism, Jean-Paul Sartre, Kirkegaard, and others. The three main thrusts of existentialism are: Freedom, Responsibility & Authenticity.

I think that if you read some introductory material on the subject, you will (hopefully) possibly feel a bit more empowered, better able to take on this joke of a world. I think this approach is a lot more realistic than becoming a polyanna-ish Christian. Christians live in a fantasy world of their own creation. I'm sorry for you 'cause I have a tough time ever feeling that you'll feel safe in that fantasy world - even though we both regrettably know that it is only fantasy.

We're not at the mercy of a god who's going to make everything all right again. To suggest that to you would be ignorant, unfeeling and cruel. I think you'll find a sense of being squared directly at reality and the beautiful, beautiful fact that you're still here if you take a look at Existentialism.

Below are some books I've looked at that are both entertaining and well-written. I've picked out introductory material because French philosophers can get a little incomprehensible at times.

I wish you courage. The courage to address what Sartre calls "bad faith."

I'm so sorry.... wish i could wave a magic wand over you and make it all better. What a life changing event... I don't understand why bad things happen, but my heart goes out to you. The important thing to know is that if you believe in Jesus, for better for worse, He will change your mortal body into an immortal one when He returns... Hang in there, get to know Him and do what you can to help someone else... sometimes the devil gets a good shot on some of us...it's war and casulties there will be, and the important thing is to trust in the one who holds the keys of death and hell and has laid His life down for us so that we would not have to experience those things. He is the the door to the Kingdom of God. I encourage you to read the new testament and seek to know Jesus better... it is powerful.

The only way is to ask the Lord for forgiveness. Lord will never leave you I am sorry about you having an accident. Now you have to pray to the Lord. Here is a direct message from the Lord " tell her to pray and if she does not know how, you teach her, she will slowly improve i will personally look after her" Need I say more ?

I think there is someone you should meet, if only through reading her books, or looking at the artwork she does by holding the paintbrush between her teeth, or listening to her Christian radio program...

Your story reminds me of Joni Eareckson Tada's story. She was a teenager when she became crippled (actually, quadriplegic). She'd understand the anger and disillusionment that you're going through now, because she went through it, too. She has her faith back now, though.

Here, look at this.

Pray to God and accept Jesus as your saviour. Things happen for a reason. Even I have my problems and illnesses, but I have a very strong faith and love for our Lord and know he will walk me through this life. Just because our flesh is hurt and suffering does not mean our souls should. This is a very short time on earth compared to eternity! Don't look at yourself as being crippled, but instead thank God you are alive and able to bring Him into your life so you can spend an eternity in Heaven. Remember, in Heaven you will no longer be in a wheelchair, but will be free of all illnesses.

Please read Christopher Reeds Book. And remember, it may not be obvious right now, but your destiny does not involve the use of your physical self. God wants you to know that your destiny lies in your heart and soul, and will revolve around the things that you can do with your mind and loving self from inside. Maybe you hadn't become that person yet or hadn't known yourself to be this way. But You were giving a tool to search deep inside yourself now to seek out this person, and find your destiny. Christopher Reed used his sudden paralysis to live life and to help and encourage others who may not have the strength, or who have lost their faith or their will. I'm sure you've heard it a thousand times before, but their is truth and depth in the saying.. "that which does not kill you only makes you stronger." That's not just a load of crap people try to feed you to lift your spirits. Believe in that saying, it has become the root of your destiny. God Bless you. I hope that you can find away to cope with your sudden life change. I will pray for you. Please don't give up! You are meant to do great things in Gods name, and in your own.
