I think Christians should cut out the gossip even if what happened is for real and should start praying for the guy. Check out the blog entry I posted yesterday about him.

I am not a Christian so I can not feel betrayed... I think it is typical behavior within the church - I was not shocked by the revelation. Haggar is only the tip of the iceberg.

I feel saddened for him and his family. I don't feel betrayed because I am a Christian and Christ has never let me down. Men will always let us down, but God never will - nor will His word. That is why I believe Jesus said, "The teachers of the law and the Pharisees sit in Moses’ seat. So you must obey them and do everything they tell you. But do not do what they do, for they do not practice what they preach. "
