Okay so this guy likes me and i like him back and we're friends and everything, but we're both shy. We're both not sure how to flirt. He glances at me and I look away, I glance at him..he looks away. So my question is: How can I flirt with him without being too flirtacous?? Thanks for your help peoples.

It takes a natural flirt to be able to flirt. it takes a naturally vocal person to flirt.
i dont understand why you need to flirt in order to get close to him. the bottom line is both of you like each and other and are rather shy. why dont you use this energy to want to try to flirt but ask him out instead? go out on interesting dates. when you have talked to each other enough, laughing and all that.. things between you two will be on a lighter mode- your flirtatious side will come out on its own, girl.

look here young lady, one of you two is gonna have to step your game up -- probably not what u want to hear but hey if he's shy and u don't want to be too much of a flirt, sure both of you will go to your rooms tonight thinking that someone probably likes you but damn, life is too short for kind of games -- what if some other lil hottie takes a likin' to him tomorrow and she decides to step to him and let her feelings be known -- and thinking that someone probably likes him but not real sure decides to go with the for sure thing ----- how would you feel then? -- bottomline, it doesn't seem like you're in highschool but if u are nevermind the previous stuff I just wrote b/c u should be concentrating on school, but if u aren't, u need to go and stake your claim before someone else does -- if he's shy like you say he is then he's gonna be like putty in your hand, if you're the kind of chick who likes that about a man

Just go right up to the guy and talk to him. The best way to learn how to flirt is to get up there and do it. Just relax and strike up a conversation with him. In no time at all, you two will warm up to each other. Be witty, clever, and gregarious. Do mind your tone, inflection of your voice and your vocal flow. Usually the best pickup lines begin with, "Hi........."
