So there is this guy from my church that my parents are friends with. He raps, and basically just does things that young people do. He flirts/talks to me all the time. At first I thought It was weird. And I still kind of do. But I cant help but kind of like it. I'm not the type of girl that likes a lot of attention, or is a whore, but I'm just wondering...

why do I like it when he does that? And is it wrong?

Oh baby girl.....know this. What you like about this man.Is something you see in yourself. Please do not.I repeat..do not take this further. Would be for his pleasure only. And sad to say you would feel used. So please respect yourself. Walk away.

Girl, spare yourself the trouble! I can tell you from experience these extreme relationships don't work. When I was 16 I "dated" a 31 year old man, I though it was cool then but then I saw he just chased young girls. Men who have relationships with much younger girls are looking for an inexperienced partner to manipulate. They don't want a partner that can match them in intellect, or be independent of them, they want the young, fragile, dependent girl. Do you know that song " I wish I knew then what I know now"... trust me find some guy your age or at most 1 year older. At seventeen your just becoming a young woman, wait because then you'll have the option to pick, choose and refuse whatever guy you want. Look at it this way, that guy is probably talking to other young girls; also he's already had a chance to develop and has probably dated many women, if you truly have feelings for each other he will wait until you graduate high school or even college and are informed enough to get into that type or relationship. But I suspect he wants an innocent.

You might be crushing on him. I don't think he is "flirting" with you. Sounds like he is being a good friend possibly a role model/ big brother type for you. If your parents think that the age difference is ok just wait till you hit 18 at least and then approach the situation. Just be forwarned though, he is older, more experienced, more mature. He may want more commitment than you want to give, that is if he is interested in you that way!

You are so young. It is normal to like the attention that he is giving you. It is however inappropriate behavior on his part. Think of it this way. He was already 11 when you were born. That is gross and he will be all crusty when you are his age. Trust your intuition. God gave it to you for a reason. The guy is a creep. Don't do anything that you will later regret.

Don't go there! He has 11 years on you. that might not be so bad if you were 37 and he was 48, but still not good. I know people who have been together for over 20 years with an 9 to 12 year difference, but they got together older.

You have just started to live life, and he has been living it for a decade. At your age, I would be weary.

um.... if you guys go out, it's illegal almost, because you're a minor and he isn't... LOL maybe you like the attention because you like him, and like that he's paying attention to you. no, it's not wrong, just a little, weird... he's 11 years old than you... LOL my limit on age is 3 years, so for me that would be 22 right now.

Legally, it is. However, are you sure that there isn't somebody your age that can do what he does? Just because there's an older version of some guy you are attracted to does not mean that you should be with him. Age matters, at least it does to me.

No its definetely not wrong....let him do whatever he is doing... right!! just be the way your are.. give in more time....it takes a lot of patience n time ofcourse to know somebody better.....i mean never indulge in anything that don't have ur own concent..don't be fast
You are going gr8...you like it.... but don't submit..fast!!

take time... see if that is consistent..and is genuine..what ever the way he is trying to woo you with..... but you are not yet clear...about ur feelings though.... i would take it.. you don't have any feelings as such for him....you like him very much externally.... so go on... no harm.... relax urself and enjoy dudette!!
the very Best of luck

He's been out of high school longer than you've been able to form complete sentences. That age difference is an ETERNITY at your ages. If he's even looking "a little bit" at someone your age, he is seriously emotionally challenged.
