I have no fear of death because I am secure in the Lord and His completed work on the cross.

I used to be afraid of death... until I found renewed strength in my own Faith. Now I no longer do fear death but, instead, I readily accept its finality--at any given moment, in fact--since all things must come to pass. Without exception.
With such an outlook, I found that I do have a much better appreciation of living life to its fullest and I definitely welcome each brand new day with a purpose.
Peace be with you!

I've learned to accept it as an inevitability. I fear dying young, and I've come pretty close before. But It will happen one day, and I will be ready if I can more or less see it coming. So I don't think I'll be afraid forever.

I don't fear it but I worry that I'm not good enough to meet God yet. In fact, sometimes I wish I could sleep peacefully and never wake up

nope. its an inevitability.
if too many people fear it theyll eventually look for some way to avoid it, even if that means making up places to go when they die and setting up holy books and magical....rules...to govern...who gets...in...and.....
