You're right, you should see the vet, but of course not many are open Sundays. If you're really concerned about it or there's a lot of bloo,d get to an emergency clinic. Otherwise you should be fine until Monday. Probably an ear infection, yeast is really common. If you have an ear wash, use it. If you have one of those "lamp shade" (Elizabethan) collar, put that on so it can't scratch the ear. Dogs don't always go off their feed for every illness (which is a good thing, they need to eat to get better!).

If your dog is scratching her ear then she obviously has some sort of irritation in it.
The discomfort could be caused by either a foreign body, such as a grass seed, or an infection. Either way if it is bothering her so much that she is making it bleed then she needs to see the Vet.
Whatever anyone says DO NOT attempt any home grown remedies and DO NOT attempt to remove any foreign body.
Some so called 'remedies' can cause more harm than good and poking your fingers in the dogs ear can push whatever might be down there further into the ear.
It doesn't sound like an emergency so I'm not suggesting that you rush her off to the Vets on a Sunday but you might have to if she has an abscess or something down there and the pain increases. Otherwise take her tomorrow.

Well has she only started today?? If she has blood then call the vet anyway and go to an emergency surgery. It IS an emergency as she may have a very painful infection which is agony and could make her deaf. Vets are available on Sundays for emergencies you know.
NEVER pour anything into the ear, especially not peroxide bleach. If she has an open abcess she may well attack you because it will feel like you have just shoved a red hot knitting needle in her ear. Once again I'm amazed that someone who is supposed to be a vet tech' can even think of offering such advice.

Put a few drops of peroxide in her ear and rub it real good. She might have an ear infection or maybe mites in her ear. Than after a few minutes wipe the ear out wait a cotton ball and ad some baby oil. To the ear with a dropper. Than go see a vet. If you don't and she continues this shaking and scratching of her head, she will get a hematoma and have to have it removed. A hematoma is like a blood clot out side the ear that forms a lump if not treated it will be sore and form a hard ball.

Check to see if it is a tick. Ticks are a very common problem in dogs ears. I didn't see where you are writing from but if you are in a region that changes seasons fall is also a common time for ticks to latch onto dogs. Take a cotton swab and clean the area with peroxide. Ticks can get much larger that most people can imagine once they have been sucking the animals blood for a few days. Look for a lump and see if it is a tick. If it is, be very careful to get the whole thing. The mouth will be buried in the skin. Once you remove it, clean the area again. No matter what you should take the dog into the vet as soon as they are open.

She may have ear mites, an ear infection or something on that order. Until you can call the vet on Monday, I would suggest that you go to the pet store and get a good ear cleaner and use it. You could also take some hydrogen peroxide and a cotton ball and wipe her ear out. Be careful not to stick anything down into the ear canal and be prepared for her to shake her head and really scratch her ear as using these preparations will aggravate it further. But doing this will help until Monday.

Sounds like ear mites or otitis (ear infection)
For ear mites there are two topical medications that clear up ear mites are Mita Clear and Eradimite. Revolution (Rx) is a prescription medication applied to the skin on the back that treats ear mites—as well as heartworm, fleas, ticks and some intestinal worms.
Treating ear mites brings your pet immense relief from the irritation of having an 8-legged mite crawling and reproducing in its ear. Not only can your pet hear the mite and feel it moving, but it is in pain because mites cause itching, inflammation, and secondary bacterial infection
As for ear infections there are also two widely used treatment: Corticosteroids reduce inflammation and itching in the ear so your pet is more comfortable. If the ear canal is so swollen your veterinarian cannot see your pet’s eardrum, steroids will help reduce the inflammation. If your pet isn’t better after 7-10 days of steroid treatment, your pet’s ear canal is not swollen because of inflammation but because of another cause, such as increased tissue growth. In this case, further steroids will not help. Among the oral steroids used are prednisone (Rx) and prednisolone (Rx).
Antibiotics
The following prescription antibiotics benefit pets with bacterial ear infections (otitis) but are not safe unless the eardrum is intact: gentamycin, tobramycin, amikacin, neomycin and polymixin B. Some pets are allergic to antibiotics, especially to topical neomycin; if your pet’s ear becomes worse with antibiotic treatment, stop the medication and call your veterinarian.
These oral prescription antibiotics are used if the bacteria your pet has in its ears are invading the cells rather than living outside the cells: fluoroquinolones, azithromycin, and clindamycin

Your dogs could have fleas that may have laid eggs in its ear. It may also have mites. The best thing to do is go to the vet. The bleeding is probably from iritation caused from scratching. Believe it or not use some calamine lotion to help soothe the itching until you can get to the vet. This will not harm your dog. You can also rub Neosporin inside his ear to help with the healing. You should ask your vet about HeartGuard. This is an excellent product and really helps with fleas. Good Luck

Did she just begin scratching her ear?
Where its bleeding, is it a wound or does it look like something bit her?
Where is it bleeding from? Inside of the ear canal or on the lobe area?
Perhaps she was bitten by a flea, which in turn caused the scratching. If she scratched hard enough, she could've created a superficial wound.
But, really there isn't enough information for anyone to even make a guess. Could you please provide more?

It`s probably ear mites and the bleeding is from her scratching.
I would not attempt to medicate on ur own, get it to a vet on Mon.
If it is very severe, there r emergency clinics open on Sunday, the cost is high, but how much do u value ur pet and how much distress is she in ?
