I don't know, but if you make the chocolate syrup recipe, you can keep it in the fridge, and it's just as convenient -- not to mention, you can use it as ice cream topping, etc.

Here's how: seive one cup of sugar and 1/2 cup of cocoa into a sauce pan (to get rid of the lumps). Add a pinch of salt. Add 2/3 cup of hot water (yes, hot water), then heat and stir until it boils. You can turn it down at this point, but let it boil for two minutes while you stir. Turn off heat and stir in 1 Tbsp. of vanilla extract.

Store in a sterilized jar -- this makes just over one cup. Use 1 or 2 Tbsp. of syrup per cup of milk. And it makes great cocoa, too! Keeps in the fridge for about three weeks. If it lasts that long!

If its just the plain cocoa, put a tablespoon of the cocoa powder in a cup with 2 tablespoons full of sugar. Add about a 1/4 cup of near boiling milk or water. Stir until dissolved. Mix with 2 cups of cold milk. A little vanilla is nice too.
