I would do that if I know my partner is the one for me to live together for the rest of my life. The colour of the skin? It's just an outlook only. You can have fair & white skin but the heart inside is as evil as a demon. It's the character of a person matter the most when you choose a life partner. You can choose the most handsome/gorgeus person to be your wife/husband but you can't guarantee that inside the handsome/gorgeus looks have included a heart that will truly love & care for you in the time when you needed them the most?

Absence of any racist feelings, it depends upon what ethicticity we are talking about. The lighter the person the more acceptance. The opposite is basically true. $$$$$$ and ones educational level has a great deal to do with acceptance or rejection by your social environment.
Your life will be limited if the extreme is a schism or the Grand Canyon. You better listen to Mom and Pop on this one.

If I loved someone from a different race I would date/marry/have children with them regardless of what my family thought. At the end of the day it is you that has to live with the person, not your family

Yes, if I felt it was right for me. I think that interracial relationships are fine. If you bring children into the picture I feel that they need to be taught the cultures and beliefs of both parents. Remember, being a "mixed" child in today's world is not easy.

What are you afraid of? Sure it could work. Examine your feelings very closely, though. Use your head to see the differences and if both of you can overcome.

I probably would. There could always be issues, anything is legitimate to consider because we have no obligation to accept anyone. We don't need a reason to refuse, nor do they.

No. There are enough problem when two people get married that I would not want to needlessly add another one such as race, culture, ethnicity to the mix. Staying married is tough enough when you are of the SAME race, every variable you add to the equation makes it harder to keep a successful marriage together.

Why does it matter if your family supports you? You like who you like, if you wouldn't like someone caues youre family is racist, thats pretty sad.
