Think about it..... do you want to be tied to her for at least the next 18 years?..... 'cuz as parents of a child, that is the minimum - it's longer if the child goes to college or university.......
Your comment sounds as if you assume that you will get custody of the child and never see her.......... give your head a shake!
If you want something to remember her by......... take pictures!

Only if you want to be responsible for the child and the mother for at least next 18 to 23 years depending on which state you and/or child/the mother live in. You should visit local Child Support Office to see the "dramas" go on when they order DNA testing and child support orders. I hope you are wealthy enough. Good luck. P.S. If you decide not to get your ex pregnant, go get yourself an album instead.

Why would you do that? That is so stupid. A baby isn't to remember somebody. A baby is a lifetime commitment and if you don't want to be with the mother than why have a baby. She is only going to get stuck raising the baby alone. Besides that is selfish of you

Hi slappy, Someone needs to slap your face. That is no reason to have a baby.You have a baby because you what to become a family.To watch your baby take their first step.See the first tooth that comes in.And hear mommy for the first time.The list go's on,but the main reason is you love each other and you want to share your love with your baby.

stop playing god! having kids is no game. there is child support to think about, the well being of the child, not to mention your too young to have a child at 17? i think you need to do alot of growing up before you even have that idea. if you want something to remember her by,get a tattoo.

No dont do it please for everyones sake ,a child needs a mother and a father to nurture and take care of it ,to have a baby for memory of a lost relationship would be traumatising to everyone involved ,buy her some roses and keep the reciept ,that should be sufficient enough.
