It won't hurt him at all if they haven't been poisoned. but if you use roach poison, it could be dangerous, depending on what kind you use..

Eating insects will not harm your dog. However, if the roaches he is eating are in the house, you probably will want to have the roaches exterminated before they take over your house. Roaches multiply at an incredible rate and in a short time, there may be hundreds. Roaches can spread diseases (one minute a roach can be under your toilet and the next on top of your stove, just one example of how roaches go through nasty things and carry that nasty stuff to other places!) Its far easier to get rid of roaches before there are very many in the house.

Dogs have rather demented appetites anyway! Some of the things dogs regard as deli delights, that make humans turn nauseus include feces (theres not a dog alive that wont eat cat feces if it can! cat feces seem to be a canine favorite in the poop category although dogs will eat plenty of other kinds too), dead things including very stinky dead things, garbage, insects, garbage, and many other things that humans find disgusting. Dogs also will eat a lot of things that were never intended to be eaten, luckily most of the inedible things pass through the dog harmlessly.

yes it is really ok i promis because dog have strong stomacs and he could eat a lot worse thing be happy he is not eating out a cat litter box it is better if he eats the bugs then then crawling around you home right? getting in to your food... laying eggs all over so let your dog help you out a little it is like a personal extermanater, and you can give you dog dewormer pills and get regular check ups i can garentee the pup will be a .o. k

Ewww, no! Yuck.
Think of it chowing down a roach then licking your face.
If the roaches are bad for people, they are bad for dogs. Kill the roaches.

my dog likes June bugs.. there is a sort of porch light out by the garage and it attracts load of those large brown june bugs. and my dog loves snapping at them and crunching them.. its hilarious.. I assume it isnt much more harm than a human eating grub worms.. just different protein..
