If you overdose on over-the-counter pills what will happen? Will you die of a heart attack, or just pass out, or just immediately stop breathing or what? Or does it depend on the pill?

If you overdose on over-the-counter pills...?
If you overdose on over-the-counter pills what will happen? Will you die of a heart attack, or just pass out, or just immediately stop breathing or what? Or does it depend on the pill?

Suppose it's a sleeping pill if it depends on the pill.

IF YOU OVERDOSE ON ANY KIND OF PILLS,YOUR HEART WILL SLOW DOWN, YOUR BREATHING ALSO WILL SLOW DOWN , YOU WILL BEGIN TO GET TIRED AND EXTREMELY SLEEPY (DEPENDING ON WHAT YOU INDIGESTED) AND SOMETIMES YOU WILL BEGIN TO CRY BECAUSE YOU JUST REALIZED POSSIBLY THAT YOU MADE A GIANT MISTAKE.
THE ONE THING TO DO IS THIS-- GO TO SOMEONE THAT YOU TRUST AND GET SOME MUCH NEEDED HELP SO YOU CAN START LIVING!

AND IF I CAN SO ANYTHING TO HELP, PLEASE LET ME KNOW.

It really depends on very factors, The medication, how much, and the person body. Latly on TV there has been alot of kids over dosing on OTC medications and from what has been released alot of them went unconsions and then had organ failure and died. I know that when some one huffs something that can cause a instant heart attack, but I have worked in the health care for a long time now and logically I would think that OTC medication has a cousre to run, you take it orally and then it has to go through the stomach and stat to be absorbed into the body before it can start to do damage and that is when it depends on how much was taken, depends on what kind of medication it is and how the make of of the persons body is and how their body works and absorbes what the body takes in. Either way OTC drug over dose is scary, it was made to do or help a certain thing like tylenol for a head ache but to much of it can shut the liver down very fast. THe kids that are using OTC drugs to get a cheap fast high are rolling the dice on their lives every time and alot are loosing. Just because it is sold over the counter doesn't mean it is same to take in large amounts. Sorry if I verded off the path of your question, a friend of mine knows a close person who just lost her 14 year old son to caugh medication and I have a 14 year old my self.

If you have been to take whatever rather than the advocated dosage you coul face a extensive variety of facet results. When you begin blending two one-of-a-kind prescriptions or medications you would get a entirely one-of-a-kind end result for the reason that of the two medications reacting with each and every different. Mixing two or extra medications at top doses would possibly throw your frame right into a: Seizure, Coma, Respiratory failure, breathing arrest, cardiac failure, cardiac arrest, cardiac compromise, surprise, mental harm, mental problems, muscle spasms, muscle failure, the record is going on and on..... Trust me. I'm a New York state medic. If you or any individual you already know needs to harm themselves, name 911 or a suicide hotline. If you or any individual has taken a host of drugs, name 911 and the poison manage middle.

It depends on the pill. Each pill has different side effects if you take to much of it.
