Good grief, most of the girls in my granddaughters fifth grade class weigh 82 pounds or more. That is not healthy for someone who is five feet tall.
Is it anorexic? You probably would have to be anorexic to weigh only 82 pounds at five feet tall.
You have to eat a nutritonal diet or your organs will wither up and quit working.

82# is way to light for anyone who is not a child any more unless you are very very short or ill. You did not give any indication why you want to lose weight nor what your current weight/height/age is. At 82 pounds you would be dangerously thin and putting your life in grave danger. At that low of a weight you can medical problems that may not be apparent but could lead to death. To find out more about this do a seach for the singer Karen Carpenter and read up on what happened to her.

Weighing 82 is not physicaly healthy, and wanting to weigh 82 to isnt mentally healthy either. A good weight for someone your height is around 95-115 pounds.

I am not sure if it's anorexic, but it is certainly close for someone who is 17 years old. If you are close to five feet you could weight 95-100 and still be thin and look good. My question to you would be, why would you want to be 82 pounds. It's just too small, be careful and listen to the nurse and others around you!

If you are serious about losing weight, the calories
in the food you eat should be less than the
energy you use. You will have to increase your
metabolic rate now, and plan your diet carefully.
Formulate your own weight loss plan and you will
lose weight faster. More details available at

You are still in the growing phase and if you diet now, especially if you are thin now, (you indicated that the nurse said you didn't have a problem) how is your body going to store enough nutrients to grow taller?

ya that would be bad. Then again, it depends on how tall you are. But 82 is stick-thin, and that is unhealthy.
