A friend of mine said there were three major prophecies that had to be completed before the second coming, what are they?

I believe that your friend was refering to these specific prophecies:

1) The final seven years will begin when the Antichrist and ther international community give their support to Isrrael's right to exist in the land promised to Abraham by God. Known as the "confirmation of the Covenant".
2) A war will begin from the vicinity of the Euphrates River.
3) The West Bank in Israel will become a place of great tribulation.
4) The Temple Mount In Jerusalem will be placed under a sharing agreement between Jew and Gentile.
5) The Jewish Temple will be built on the Temple Mount.
6) The Temple Mount will be placed under the supervision of the international community, and the leader of this community is the Antichrist.
7) The leader of the world community will stand on the Temple Mount cliaming to be the ultimate authority there.
8) Every person on earth will be required to have a mark or number in order to buy or sell.

1.The next event prophesied to occur is the Rapture.This is not what is so often referred to as the second coming of Christ.The reason being He returns for His church who meet Him in the "air"
Once this occurs the tribulation period enters and the anti Christ sets up his rule in the temple.I/2 way through the Trib the Jews now come to the realization Jesus was the true Messiah and at this point in time the 144000 chosen go out into all the world and evangelize like never before seen. During the remainder of the trib period(7 years) many judgements occur on earth and millions are killed.Those who do not have the mark of the beast will be martyred and you will need the mark to buy or sell in the market place.As the trib closes all nations will rise up against God's chosen people"Israel" and try to eliminate her.Before this can happen
2 Christ returns (2nd coming) and sets up His earthly rule with the saints. The reign lasts 1000 years and will be perfect until Satan who had been caged for the 1000 years is loosed once again for a short spell showing once again how man turns against God.
3The Great White Throne judgement now occurs where those who's name is not found written in the Lamb's Book of Life will be judged and cast into the lake of fire with Satan ,his angels and the false prophet. The believers go to spend eternity with the Lord..

There are many sites and prohecies about what is to happen prior to the second coming of Christ. Most common are the 7 signs.
However, no where do I find a reference to a specific 3 major prophecies before the second coming.

Nobody knows much about this. It's all speculation, no matter what they tell you, or how many bible verses they back it up with.

The only thing that's for sure is that antichrist comes first, before the real Christ appears on the scene ... and the moment the real Christ appears, everyone's natural bodies will be changed into glory, something that even the devil can't mimick.

No glorified body = fake Christ (antichrist).
Glorified body = real Christ (God).

Remember this simple fact, and all the rest of it becomes manageable.
