It will be easier to find a white or ivory dress with blue accents than a complete blue dress. However, take a look at this dresses to see if you like them:

Ebay has thousands of wedding dresses. You can choose any colour you want. All you need is the measurements of your friend and approximately 200 australian dollars. They make them in china and send them to where ever you are. Doesnt take very long. Goodluck hope this helps

Why doesn't your friend just find a seamstress in your area and have one made? I made my own wedding dress because I wanted it to be pale blue with while lace overlay. It isn't that hard to do.

You can always just look at bridesmaid dresses at wedding stores

if you go to www.theknot.com and do a search on bridesmaid dresses, it will show different dresses in real weddings and list where they got them from

www.watters.com has bridesmaid dresses that are fairly fancy and can be worn as a wedding dress and come in blue.

Otherwise your best bet is to get it made by a local seamstress.

The J Crew website has a wedding shop that carries long and short wedding and party dresses. They also have petites and talls, and navy is one of their signature colors.

Good luck to you and your friend!

There is a seller on Ebay that will make a gown in any style or color that you want. I have never used them, but they have good feedback. A good alternative is a bridesmaids gown, they come in lots of colors, but you won't have a train.

Buy a dress then dye it yourself, it's not hard to do just follow the directions, and if you are not comfortable doing it yourself then pay to have it done at a cleaners.

you could always but one that is white and take it to get colored. they do that now.
