Are there any other parents ready for the day after Thanksgiving sales? I'm so excited about them.

I live in a small town so there isn't much fighting over things. Our sales aren't usually even that crowded.

Well I have never shopped the day after Thanksgiving, usually because I am broke from hosting a huge Thanksgiving dinner the day before....BUT.....this year I just may jump in, my daughter has decided to host thanksgiving at her house (she is 21, so this should be memorable) AND...my boss just told me 2 days ago that instead of waiting till mid December to hand out our Christmas bonus this year, it will be given the day BEFORE Thanksgiving!!!!!

For the last pass three years i have been going out of town on the day after Thanksgiving and i have not miss the shopping, because i shop so much all year long that the day after thanksgiving is just another day.

I'm sorry, but I would much rather pay full price for things then to have to fight over parking spots and fight my way through the throngs of rude people who have lost all sense of politeness. It just sucks the joy right out of the holidays for me.
