I now have to start packing a lunch again because my workplace isn't close to any cafeterias or restaurants. I'll have access to a microwave and dishes. I'm a vegetarian (not vegan). Can you suggest any super-cool packed lunch ideas? I'd prefer things that I can prepare in about twenty minutes (or less) the night before, and that doesn't have any ingredients that absolutely require freezing (as I live in a university residence and they didn't give us freezers this year!). My lunchtime staple is usually a sandwich with roasted peppers, cheese and pesto, but now I'd like to branch out and try some new (vegetarian) ideas!

Thanks!

first start of with a sand which. This can contain cheese, egg , tomatoes or anything else you like. Then a small bowl of rice/pasta to keep up your energy, and maybe a yogurt or a fruit.

For drinks how about a cup of orange juice.
And last but definitely not least desert , try a sun-day or a fudge cake
Hmmm

Hello JETGIRL,

I am going out of this question because I just wanted to send you a message but you don't allow it, right?

It's about the other question that you have answered about teaching english as a second language (TESL). Do you happen to teach it or are you concerned with english as foreign or second language. Here in this question of yours, you tell you are at university, what are you studying, if you don't mind sharing this information. You also told the other colleague that here in South America would be better to find a job with english concerning. What makes you think like this? (do you happen to know something) oh, I am from Brazil and if you don't mind sending me a message, I would be thankful.

take care,

gnfr

Fruits and salads are good and quick. Maybe some pasta dishes. You could make enough for a few meals for the week. They warm up nice in the microwave. Can soup is good. Some don't need can openers. Hope this helps :)

Seems we are all trying to track you down since you don't have
e-mail access. I wanted to ask you who/what school you worked for in Torino. And where do you live now? How could you leave Italy? Don't you miss it? Grazie, OTR

How about a chick pea Salad.

Drain a can of chick peas and add diced red onion, celery, parsley, coriander (cilantro), seasoning, olive oil and vinegar.
Or, add anything else that suit your tastes.
