Like if your sexy (9 on a scale of 1-10) and desire a sexy (around 9) kinda girl, it will work; but if your a 3 and your aiming for a 8, then is your best luck going to be around a 3?

It's actually been shown that people tend to gravitate towards others of similar attractiveness when it comes to relationships. The reason is because if a really hot gorgeous person has a average boy/girlfriend, the average one would always have insecurities about competition from others better looking than him/her, even if the gorgeous person is truly in love with the average one. Such insecurities can often blow up and ruin the relationship.
Of course there are exceptions to this rule. Those lucky bastards. :P

Most of the time yes - not all of the time. I personally believe that a woman should seek a man who is less attractive. The reason is that he'll think he's getting the greatest prize in the world rather than always wondering if he could have done better or having wandering eyes looking at other women. What an awesome ego boost for your man in a long term relationship! For a guy - he shouldn't shoot for more than he is - most of the time - it's just not going to work, unless he finds a girl where the interest is there on her part. Every girl wants to feel like the most beautiful princess in the world and if you're with a more attractive guy - they are not thinking you're that great.

if you're the "3" and has no hang-ups about it and acting like you're an 8, 9, 0r 10, then in all probability men will see you that way and as you're feeling good about yourself, relationships might work better. if, however, you'll be stuck feeling insecure, acting like you're a 3, you'll always be a 3, feeling that way, and better off having someone who's a 3 or less.

wellll it doesnt always matter about looks you can be the most un attractive person but have the best personality and someone good looking would approach you so dont think that way im sure your a great guy
