when will i find the "right guy?"?

I'm 20 years old and this is my junior year of college. Lately, I felt like I'm ready to settle down. However, i dont know if I'll ever find the right guy. Freshmen and sophomore year of college, i was really into going out and partying. Now, i dont mind staying in anymore. Ive always been told that I'm cute with a great personality but all the guys i meet at parties are out for only one thing. I just want to meet a guy that is sincere and ready to settle down as well that is around my age. Where are the best places that I can meet these guys? Please help!

Well, you are asking the right question. Apparently, parties are not the place to meet the right guy. Try the library, church or some other organizations that appeal to your hobbies, if any. If you don't have a hobby then get one.

Try that online date company that advertises a lot on TV. They may work. Don't knock it. I met my husband online and we are going on 5 years now.

All I really have to say is that love will find you. It always does. It can arrive at any moment. I'm still waiting for it, so what do I know? But from a guys perspective (one who isnt in it for sex) doesnt want to meet a girl at a bar or a dance club or something like that. In my relationships past, I they have happened by chance, bumping into a customer at work and eyes meet, or bumping into someone in the hall, etc. Perhaps even seeing the same person at the corner store every other day and you finally ask that person to hang out with you someday. I dont know what your campus is like, but I would imagine that the guys that are ready to "settle down" probably don't even know it. You've got to "bump" into that one and then it'll happen, I promise. But then again, i'm single, what do I know? haha. Hope this helped at least a little bit.

I'm afraid 20 year old men aren't ready to settle down. Sorry, that's just been my experience. Just get into your own thing and try not to focus on the guy thing. Focus on your future. When the time is right, you'll meet the one. If you want to date, date. If not, do whatever. Stay home, go out with your friends, volunteer somewhere. Remember, you need to have a life before you can share it with someone. You are still young, have fun.

I know how you feel. but the other way around... I have been looking for a girl. that is ready to settle down, but they are hard to come by these days, either there going from parnter to partner or something like that, to the possibility of them cheating on you... but anyways to answer your question the best place to meet a guy is not at a party at college, maybe at church or at a grocery store or something... and you are right 3/4 guys that is whats on ther mind... and dont worry you will find that guy that is right for you, never give up... i havnt and I am still looking for that one special someone thou...

Hi Sweet, You might try church for a good man.Go to a skating ring,there's all sorts of guys' there. You might find Mr.Right at a movie or a racing track. You will know when you do find him. Good luck on your hunting. A Friend.
