I need my uncle to send some money but my gramer and letter writeing skills are not so good.

Life at college is going great! I am learning a lot of new things. For instance, I should do my homework before supper so I can hang out with friends after supper. Speaking of supper, could you send me a few dollars so I can order some pizza? If I don't have to cook my own food, I have more time to study. Hope to see you at Christmas break!

Just like if you wre asking in person,DON'T start the conversation out asking for cash.First tell him how you've been,how the family's been.Say you're wondering how he is and his family.Then ease into talking about youre financial issue and then tell him why youre writing him.Tell him how much you need,when youneed it and if and when you plan to pay him back.
