you got her from a breeder or a pet store or shelter??

if from a pet store - well that was your big mistake - they sell the lowest quality of pet for the highest price.. you should have a health guarantee.. I suggest you make sure they honor it...

if from a reputable breeder or SPCA then contact them first.. they will usually have a health guarantee as well and are excellent about honoring it if you call them first..

if from a backyard breeder.. well you are probably on your own as I doubt they gave you a guarantee

puppies can get sick and go down hill quick.. I hope she was vaccinated before you got her.. she may just be chocking on a toy or something she shouldnt have gotten a hold of.. make sure you watch her and call the vet if she isnt eating/drinking or vomits... especially if she vomits blood

IF you can afford to "buy" a puppy.. you can afford a vet.. if you can afford the internet and a computer you can afford a vet.. you shouldnt buy a puppy if you cannot afford a vet
it is a criminal offense to ignore the medical needs of a pet - you can be charged... so having said that - GET A VET....

point is if you recently took on the responsibilty of a pet its up to you to look after it... or you shouldnt have got a pet...

If you got her from a pet store or shelter or even a breeder that kept her in a dog run or kennel? Sometimes you will find puppy mills where they have a large number of dogs and they are kept in indoor/outdoor kennels. Keeping dogs especially young pups in these types of places can cause kennel cough. Some of the symptoms are coughing or hacking, Drippy nose, And sometimes fever. It's would be best if you took him to the vet to see if he has this. Which It sounds like this is the case. There really isn't any kind of home remedy that I know of that will fix this. The vet will have to give your pup antibiotics.

Ok if you dont have the money to take her to the vet, then why did you get her? She needs to go to the vet anyway for shots and deworming. Definately need to take her if shes been doing this hacking and it hasnt stopped.

If you didn't have the money for the vet, then why did you get the dog? Animals are just like children, you would take your kid to the dr. if it was sick wouldn't you? If you can't afford the vet, then you shouldn't get the animal. TAKE THE POOR THING TO THE VET!!!!!

Make sure she drinks plenty of fluids, does she bite and or lick herself much? It sounds odd but she might have some hair in her throat or she coulg be congested. When my dog was like 10 weeks he wheezed in his sleep but that stopped. You may have to take her to the vet. Best of wishes to your puppy and you, I hope she feels better (dont worry she will be just fine soon!)

My chihuahua puppy did the same thing when I got him at that age. The vet said it could be kennel cough, or it could be a thing where the esophagus has a slight dent in it (born that way), or he just has a little cold. Whatever it was, it went away on it's own.

3 issues you ought to do: a million. call the Vet 2. call the Vet 3. call the vet there is not any excuse for no longer chatting along with your vet in the experience that your domestic dog has been throwing up for that long. call THE VET you ought to even call an emergency vet health center by using fact's Sunday night.

Congrats on getting a puppy that you CLEARLY CANNOT AFFORD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
If it is a small breed, it can have a collapsing trachea. Could have Kennel Cough. NEEDS A VET!

It needs shots and worming also.....were you going to do those things, or just HOPE the pup does not get parvo????????

Why the hell would you get a pet and know you cannot afford proper care?????????
