Nope. Actually, I've been asked at a supermarket a few times, but one guy was much older than me, and I felt uncomfortable accepting, while the other guy works at the deli and it's kind of become a running joke between us. It's kind of a weird space for flirting because there is no immediate area to go and have a cup of coffee or something in order to get to know each other better - and the fact that you both have groceries shows that you will both probably be heading home right after. But, no - I've never heard of someone accepting a date from someone at the supermarket, although I'm sure it's happened to someone somewhere.

in the past couple of monthsI've been asked twice to go out on dates while i was shopping in the supermarket... although i didn't want to hurt any feelings, and one of the guys was cute... i just couldn't do it. there are too many freaks and psychos out there, and you never know... i kind of need to know the person from somewhere else... going out with strangers is kind of stupid.
i don't know anyone else who has actually gotten a date from a supermarket

30 years ago My parents met at a convenience store. They married each other and had a few kids. So, yeah I guess you could meet someone at a supermarket and go out on a date.

seriously wanna try that. Its actually the most common place ppl meet and end up dating. Plus doenst hurt that there are always hotties working and shopping in the Publix thats near my apt

Yes! They got married, had twin sons, and my girlfriends husband ended up fooling around on her! Long story short, they are now divorced! So, listen to your mommy and daddy and DON'T TALK TO STRANGERS!!!!
