It is for some people. The sexual revolution has virtually destroyed romance since so many couples see sex as a normal part of cheap dating. Why would a guy spend any time at all to romance a girl and develop a romantic relationtionship when so many girls have moral-free lives and will have sex with anyone that buys them a soda. Low morals have damaged romance for many people. However for those of us who dated with high morals and never engaged in sex prior ro marriage our entire lives ever since have been filled with chivalry, romance, and gentlemanly behavior. The result is that my sweetheart and I have been married 26 years. If you are a girl of easy morals and love having sex with guys prior to marriage you will NEVER attract romantic guys--you will only attract guys that want to have sex with you and then move on to another easy lay. Sorry--that's life.

That's not very "romantic" thinking! Always keep up your hope! In today's world, its getting harder and harder for people to stay in relationships and its also getting harder for people to tell other's true colors. All we can do is hope for the world and romance. I don't think its a lost art if we practice it ourselves, I think it may be a scarce art, but not a lost one. Just remember to stick to your values and love people. I'd like to think its only as complicated as we make it. People are losing their magic. Just believe.

Romance is in the eye of the beholder. Some people want flowers, candy, or candle light dinners. Some think that a true romantic will hold his Love's hair when she is puking in the toilet. It all depends on what floats your boat.

There are, but they tend to be a bit older, and they are not Tom Leykus listeners. This guy has reduce love to a animal behavior. He instructs young men to "Bang" women and not spend cent on them. He instructs young men and women to use each other. He is a sick atheist. No morals at all. He is a huge part of the non romance issue today!

Look for a man that likes to write poetry, and likes to be with women. Some one that likes animals, and little children. That likes to do things with family.

Good hunting!

It's lost because people make mistakes, and people are too self centered. There isn't care for the world anymore. In order for there to be love, one must not be concerned with themselves. They must follow their hearts and love with the fullness of which they know how, but until then. Romance is dead.

i believe in romance, adn i hope to hell that its out there, otherwise what the hell are we doing? working, hanging out with friends...but what else, i wnat a true romance, i wnat the woman who would walk in the moonlight wiht me, or travel the world, or jsut be comfortable hanging out at home watching movies...a woman who is passionate adn not affraid to show emotion, in modern society it isnt "cool" you have to be a playa, or a club queen which is a load of crap, no thanks ill take a true romance, over a one night stand any time, or day.

I think there are many, the problem seems to be that the older a guy is, the more romantic he becomes.
The older he gets, the more he thinks with his head.
