i've been going out with my boyfriend for a year(nov. 20) but just resently i got the biggest crush on my boyfriends best friend. i know i can trust him and he will listen to my problems because i go out with his best friend. i like both of them but i can't choose and i'm not sure that my boyfriends friend will go out with me if i break up with my boyfriend.

That's horrible. You obviously don't care too much about your bf. If you're having any doubts about the two of you after a year, you need to end things. And don't go after the friend. That's a rule I do believe.

Chances are your right he won't go out with you if he is truly a best friend. Why has it taken this long for you to realize you have a crush on him? What has changed in your relationship with your boyfriend? And oh yes something has or you would have noticed the best friend long before now. Or has the best friend done something your b/f perhaps don't? In any case you need to figure out what your feelings towards your b/f are. And are they real? Having a crush on someone is not a big deal. were made to find the opposite sex attractive it's how you handle and deal with that attraction that counts. Follow your heart after you look deep into it. It will lead you on the right path. GL

Gee thats a hard one. But is very common. It's a risky thing to. Are you willing to throw away your one year relationship to go for his best friend? Also why go for the bestfriend if there are plenty of other fishes in the sea? IS it because you are the girlfriend it has allowed you to get know the bestfriend properly? It can get a bit messy. If you break it off and go for the bestfriend your 'playing' in the same backyard. If ya get what I mean. Do you know if the bestfriend will go out with you? Because he will also have to deal with his bestfriend, your boyfriend and do you think their friendship could frizzle over this? Temptation, temptation lol Good luck on finding out what you really want. P.S Either way is a learning experience for you ;)

ypu like both right?? so why ruin everything for a chance at whats behind door #2??? He wouldnt date you if he was all that your into. Crushes are natural, but don't make him a homewreker. Your crush will go away so don't make your b/f leave too.

This happens a lot. But as you get to know him (the friend), and you date your boyfriend longer, you'll get over it. Trust me. He'll probably always be attractive to you, but you'll like him only as a friend.

it is temptation. get over it. you don't want to risk a relationship over a crush. if you break up with him for his best friend, your are ruining and your relationship with him and his relationship with his best friend. i suggest you stay with what you have and not risking loosing both.
