POtassium chloride is lethal if injected intravenously. Other than that, the victim would probably throw up before lethal quantity of KCl consumed, or instinctively, looking for water, because KCl is just as salty as NaCl (which as u know is our lovely table salt).

Be more sophisticated (or classic, ur choice) and use other poison. That cesium pill idea sounds cool, although would probably a lit bit awkward and too imaginative.

In its pure form, probably not (its odorless but salty). A 150lb person requires about six ounces in order to achieve the desired effect. Might want to make it a workout drink, potassium chloride (in smaller amounts) is used as an electrolyte booster.

potassium chloride would be considered a chemical compoud we might call a "salt". it would probably taste a bit salty. Potassium Cyanide would kill the victim faster. its a bit of a classic poison too. Or maybe use arsenic. its an older poison. its got .... class i suppose. or even better .. use a capsule with ceasium in it that ends up getting activated inside the victims stomach... in short.. they would explode from the inside. im not kidding. its true. but to answer your question .. idk whether it would be "untraceable" or not... good luck with your book!

Lol, you cant kill someone like that with potassium. It has to be injected in a very lrage quantity.

Get help before you end up on prison.

ps Yes, you can tell its there-it tastes like salt

Do you mean detectable, as in being able to taste it? It would take about 6 oz of KCl to kill someone weighing 150 lbs, so it would be pretty detectable.

I'd find it easier to kill a 'character'. 'Charictors' are much harder.

Why, do you want to make it taste salty?

I can't imagine why you want to know that.
