Because you worship something that isn't there. You are ignorant, science proofs the Big Bang and yet you belief in a ARC filled with Animals. It's not your fault it is just a fairytale handed down from generation to generation. Why Can't you have your own mind. I know because if you have your own mind then you will burn in a Fire for eternity. What God would theaten you to eteranl Burning in Fire. None. Only Man would put fear in your heart and soul. The big bang doesn't prove atheism. The big bang proves there is a God. Before evolution ever came on the scene, back in the 1600's and 1700's, we had debates between philosophic atheists and christians and even some muslims who are theists would also debate the atheists. The theists would say "look around you and you'll see a whole universe.....this universe is not necessary....it doesn't have to be here.....why is there something rather than nothing"?. The atheists would just say the universe has always been here. It's eternal. The big bang showed that the universe isn't eternal. It had a beginning. That is what the big bang is. It's the start of all matter and energy, the beginning of the 4 dimensions(3 dimensions of space and one dimension of time). The law of cause and effect(which Einstein called the most reliable of all the physical laws of the universe) says that anything that has a beginning must have a cause. Therefore, the universe is not eternal. It needs a cause. Let's take a look at this cause. The effect is never greater than the cause. If the effect has a certain attribute, the cause must also have that same attribute. You simply can't give what you ain't got. Let's see what attributes this effect(the universe) has. The universe has intelligence, because humans have intelligence. Therefore the cause must have intelligence. The universe has personality because we have personality. Therefore, the cause has personality. The universe has emotions because we have emotions. Therefore, the cause has emotions. The universe has will because we have will, therefore the cause must have will. Now let's see, the cause has will, intelligence, emotion and personality. That sounds a lot like the christian God to me. You can call it a ghost if you want. I call it God. You might object that the universe didn't have these attributes at its beginning. Where did they come from? Don't tell me they just evolved. Ask any information scientist if information can come from dead chemicals. We have enough info in our genes to fill a stack of books from here to the moon and back 500 times. It didn't just come from dead chemicals. The animals don't have emotion, personality and for the most part, intelligence. They also lack a recognition of morals. The lion doesn't kill and eat the gazelle and then start feeling guilt about what he did. Where did morals come from? The only answer that makes sense to me is that there's a God up there that created all this and put these attributes in this universe. I believe that God is the Christian God and that is my humble opinion.
You say "you worship something that isn't there". That's a pretty bold statement. I'd like to know how you know that. Atheism is impossible to prove. You're trying to prove a universal negative. You're saying, 'I know for a fact there is no God anywhere in the universe'. How could you know that? You'd have to be able to search every little inch of the universe to prove that. Even that wouldn't prove anything because If you searched all of the universe I would just say that the reason you missed him is because when you were over here he was over there. You'd have to be in every inch of the universe at the same time. If you could do that you wouldn't prove that there wasn't a God you would prove just the opposite...namely, that there was a God because you would be God if you could be in every inch of the universe at the same time. Even if you could be in every inch of the universe at the same time I would just say that the reason you didn't find him was because you were looking in the universe and he is outside the universe. If God created the universe he would have to be outside of it since he existed before the universe even existed, having created it. Athiesm is utterly impossible to prove. It's not only impossible to prove , it's implausible to believe.
Anybody who says there is no God is just not thinking straight. In your brain there are 100 billion neurons. Each one of those neurons(remember, there's 100 billion of them) is connected to 1000 other neurons. That comes out to 100 trillion connections in your brain. These connections send electronic signals(and you can measure the electricity) from one place to another. If part of the brain is damaged and you lose some function that is controlled by that part of the brain, the brain can actually re-wire itself and let other neurons in the undamaged part of the brain take over so that you can get back that function. That's only the connections in the brain, not the rest of the body.
Our bodies also have tons of information in the DNA. You have enough information in your DNA to fill encyclopedia sized books stacked from here to the moon and back 500 times. Do you really think that came about by just random chance........kind of like a monkey typing out the works of Shakespear just by randomly plucking away at the keys?
You need to step back and look at the big picture of what is being claimed by evolution, namely, that the unbelieveable complexity of the human brain(not to mention the rest of the body) is nothing more than re-arranged pond scum. It’s pond scum from the original prebiotic soup re-arranged over billions of years into 100 trillion connections in the brain by luck…..just random chance.
Creation is common sense. Wherever you see design there's got to be a designer. That's just common sense. It's like Paly once said. He said that if you're walking along in a forest and you find a wrist watch that keeps perfect time, the only logical conclusion is that it was designed. Everywhere in the universe there is design. Just look around you. Anything that is living is infinitely complex. An atheist has to say what Richard Dawkins says, namely, that there is no real design in the universe.....just the appearance of design.
You just can't logically and realistically deny that there's design all through the universe. It's all around you. You have to be blind not to see it. There are branches of science that basically just study the design in nature.........scientific disciplines such as nano-technology and bio-mimetrics. These disciplines study the design in nature.......whales,bats,dolph have sonar.......and try to create machines that mimic that design. Everywhere you look there's design. Where there's design there's got to be a designer. That's just common sense. Creation is not an unproven theory. It's a common sense fact that we come to by just using a little logic and reason.

Do you have too much time on your hands, or did God suddenly appear to you and tell you to irradicate the Amish...did you hear him speak? did you speak back to him? ....
