rather read bible material wriiten by well-respected christians?

Well, here's what He did with me: He waited for those 'well-respected Christians' to fail. And fail they did, which taught me that God alone is trustworthy.
Not that I'm perfect now--nobody is--but I take everything people say with a grain of salt and measure it against Scripture, rather than measuring Scripture against the words of men. HTH.

Sounds to me like your child is abiding in the word already. If he's reading literature written by well respected Christians then obviously the Bible is discussed in them. It also sounds to me like you need to spend a bit more spiritual time with your child.

You are going to have to ask God.

If you are trying to get someone to abide in the Word, know that you can make suggestions but that you are powerless over another's choices.

If you are the one who would rather read the Bible material written by well-respected Christians, then I suggest you read the Bible too. (See? And I remain powerless over your decision.)

8. Satan represents all of the so-called sins, as they all lead to physical, mental, or emotional gratification!

9. Satan has been the best friend I have ever had, as He has kept me happy all these years!
