Been single for a while, would love to love another, but what if I'm set in my ways, lost my mojo, or am just not that attractive? Any cool success stories out there?

being set in your ways is one thing... If your looking to be with someone, you've got to comprimise yourself for him as he will with you. if you both don't, there's no point for either of you.

The key phrase is "set in my ways." Any loving relationship is a give/take. Unless you are willing to give up your set ways.........and her too....then no, a loving relationship will not work.

You can work on attractive, loose weight if necessary, pump some iron, get your hair (if any left) styled, dress nicely, carry yourself with confidence, etc and be interested in people. If you won't change, then don't bother launching the fishing boat. You won't be catching anything.

As for the mojo.....if there's some lightening between two people, some things can be jumped started again.

Everyone is set in their ways after being single a long time. Success would depend on how willing each person is about setting aside their "ways" for the good of someone they love.

The first year is the toughest, as one adjusts to the loss of personal space and time and gets used to sharing.

The benefits are worth the sacrifice though.

Being single for a long time does not mean you are not attractive. or that you lost it.. it was a choice you made and now that you are ready to love and be loved Go for it. I had a friend who was a priest and he was single for a,looooooooooong time but when he found the right now he went out of the seminary and married her and up to this time they are very happt togehter blessed with 3 kids... When you find love keep it...

love is a sentiment based most of the time on passion. but that is not always the case. anything can happen. whether or not you believe in soul mate there is that one person out there somewhere, which is the right person for you. beside, being single does not mean there is something with you. you just have to make a move. sometimes, girls tend to be traditional so they want you to ask them out. if you don't someone else will. and when that happens you just so run out of luck.

It doesn't matter how long you have been single. When the right person comes along, you will want to compromise with her.
