The Wynn is the popular one at the moment, but really depends on your tastes as the higher end ones all have good reputations...

I'm getting married at Caesar's in a two months. We chose the simplicita package and are getting married on a Sunday to save money. After the ceremony we're taking about 40 people out to dinner at Mesa Grill. Most restaurants on the strip have some sort of private room that can accomodate 40-60 people or you can always rent a space and have it catered. After dinner we're taking our friends out drinking and hijacking one of the casino floor bars.

I think Vegas is a great option if you are having a smallish wedding but most of the guest would have to fly in anyways. Over 2/3 of our guest list lives across the country in different cities and figured everyone can get cheap direct flights to Vegas and there's a hotel to fit everyone's budget. Best of luck with your wedding planning!

Edit: Also check Mandalay. They just renovated their chapels and they look absolutely gorgeous!

You can't go wrong with the Bellaggio or Ceasers or The Wynn, any of the top of the line hotels will work. You can also get married outdoors in Red Rock Canyon or at Lake Mead or in the Valley of Fire. Also, I saw a wedding on TV at Lake Las Vegas which looked great.

My hubby and I got married in Vegas. We didn't get married in a hotel, but at the "Little Church of the West", across from Mandalay Bay (which is where we stayed----very, very nice!). Look up www.littlechurchlv.com. They have affordable packages, beautiful flower arrangements, limo service, provide a photographer (beautiful pictures!) and a dvd of the ceremony. We ate at the Commanders palace at the Aladdin, very expensive, but well worth it!!!! Congratulations and good luck!!!

Hi mtobe,

If you aren't paying for it I'd say the Belaggio- with the suite ontop will run $5,000.00 a night-be sure to catch the water shows at the Belaggio-both daytime & at night (night is best).
Paris is quite nice too. Or go to 1 of those wedding chapels then go out on the town, go see shows, go gambling, Hoover Dam, take the tram from one end to the other end that way you see what's there & can plan on seeing other attractions, Coke bottling, Hard Rock Cafe etc. Congrats & have a good day!

we got married at the Bellagio in September, on their terrace overlooking the lake. At the end of the wedding, the fountains play for you. It was incredibly romantic, and they did a fantastic job for us.

There's a huge range of options - the website below lets you research every chapel in Vegas and lets you search the wedding packages by cost, theme/traditional ceremony and hotel/independent chapel.

Hope you find what you're looking for.

I looked into the MGM Grand, but I know that my family will be upset if I elope (except for my dad!), so I decided against it.

Their packages are decent, but you can get nice things 'a la carte.'
