The Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus!!!!! It was awesome!!! It's not very expensive once you get there because they'll do anything to atract tourists because most of them go to southern Cyprus. The TRNC isn't actually an official country, but that makes it more cool because they don't have copyright laws, and I bought a CD for 7 Turkish Lira (5.5 dolllars)! The taxis are a lot cheaper than in southern Greek Cyprus, and there are plenty of castles and Mediterranean beachs to visit. If you go, I must recommend Camelot Club near Girne. It has a fantabulous but expensive restaurant (and let me tell you, at every mediterranean restaurant they will feed you to death), a "fast" food restaurant (fast to them is one hour, normal is three or four hours, but it's worth the wait), and a lovely beach. It is legally Muslim, but women there don't wear head scarves or anything because they're very secularized. I could write a whole novel about my trip, but I'm sure that would bore you to death. Hope this is helpful!

Keystone, CO. Most people only go there for the winter, but they have nice summer attractions too. For instance, they have goldpanning, canoeing, shopping, etc.

I do prefer snowboarding though =)
