Getting to LaGuardia during NY Marathon?

Being from out of town, I don't know what to expect; I have a 1:30 PM flight and am staying Mid-town. How long will it take me?

Take the 7 subway (at the Port Authority Bus Terminal, Times Square, or Grand Central Station) to 111th Street in Queens, then use your Metro Card for the Free Transfer to the Bus 48 to the Airport. It avoids the surface near the Marathon Route.
