Yes, it is annoying.

But, I think everyone has an ideal goal that they may not attain.

And, in this scenario I can see how hypocrisy--living a lie--seemed the only feasible alternative. It's the same story that gays and lesbians have been telling for years--the world assumes "straight" so live the lie that everyone assumes is "truth"--it is survival in a hostile environment.

Imagine growing up in a conservative, religious environment where everyone and every statement condemns your born trait? Would you feel comfortable "coming out"--taking a stand?

Risking derision, persecution and physical harm?

As is the case with Mouse3801, I know someone (a co-worker) who is always condemning the rest of us because we do not share her beliefs.

Yet, she swears, she gossips, she is intolerant of minorities, and she does not keep regular hours. And then she makes a big deal about having to do things for her church and how important that is.

So, the short answer to your question is: YES.

There are hypocrites no matter where you go,get over it.He's gone that's it ,let another take his place ,just like Judas.Won't be the first time or the last time.Guess what? Jesus is still on the throne!

Yeah. You're completely right about that. They shouldn't preach if they're doing it as well. The best thing to do about it is just accept that some people are really like that and you can't change them. However, you should occasionally tell them what they're doing wrong.

this is a great question,,,,,,,,,,,,I have a neighbor that preaches to me about going to church, she drink, smokes pot and cusses, and judges me but she does not wrong, she does way more than me and she does not attend church. I feel I am more in to god than she is, hypocrites drive me insane but I don't do near what she does.

Set your site above all that. That is the flesh realm, walk in the spirit, and these things won't bother you. Pray for them
They will come through it, with you to pray and love them and forgive
I think that is a place we all come through.
Look on things above.......

1. Satan represents indulgence instead of abstinence!

2. Satan represents vital existence instead of spiritual pipe dreams!

3. Satan represents undefiled wisdom instead of hypocritical self-deceit!

4. Satan represents kindness to those who deserve it instead of love wasted on ingrates!

5. Satan represents vengeance instead of turning the other cheek!

6. Satan represents responsibility to the responsible instead of concern for psychic vampires!

7. Satan represents man as just another animal, sometimes better, more often worse than those that walk on all-fours, who, because of his “divine spiritual and intellectual development,” has become the most vicious animal of all!

8. Satan represents all of the so-called sins, as they all lead to physical, mental, or emotional gratification!

9. Satan has been the best friend I have ever had, as He has kept me happy all these years!

Do not judge their hearts. Seek charitable reason for the sinful actions that occur.

Who doesn't hate that? I mean, alot of people just do it in different ways. Like, I know alot of Catholics (no disrespect) who are all like "Jesusssss bla bla bla!" but then treat gay people and just anybody who thinks a different way like s***. But that's only the people I know, just so I'm clear.
