SAME PROBLEM...HERE IS A SUGGESTION!

Get some honey and feed a little to them. This should give them a boost in energy! Don't give them a lot, because they will get full quick. Call your vet in the morning and see what else you can do for them. Their poo should be yellow or kinda green (this is normal for formula fed pups)...on a sad note, the pups may die anyway because of the mastitis...I lost all but one pup to this...also, keep those babies warm!

Good luck, I hope both the babies live full lives!

Why have you waited til now to ask for help? You may have waited too long.
Call a local emergency vet clinic and ask what the normal temp should be on a 2 wk old puppy, tell them that one seems to be sick.
Get a regular rectal thermometer and take the puppies temp. . be sure to shake the thermometer down before inserting it into the puppy. . . .below normal temp could be an indication that infection has set in and unless you take them to a vet you will probably loose them.
Regular milk that you buy at the store isn't good enough for puppies, you need to get some puppy formula for them.
Sometimes goats milk will work and you might be able to buy that at the grocery store as many people have found goats milk to be a real good cow's milk substitute.
You might have just force the puppies to take milk and a syringe is good for that.
As you feed the puppy keep it wrapped in a good size wash cloth or small towel to keep the puppy dry as it misses some of the milk.
Be sure to stroke the puppy's throat as you feed it,this encourages the puppy to swallow.
The stool change could be due to infection esp if their temp is down and if they are dehydrated which at this point I would suggest they are.
Animals are pretty smart beings and often times they will eat their young if they sense that there is something wrong with them and that have been the case with the mother dog but I don't know that I have ever heard of this or seen it myself.
Be sure to keep your puppies warm and feed them warm milk.
Have you thought to check on line to see how to feed abandoned puppies?

Good Luck but I have a feeling you may be too late.

the best thing to do is to take them to the vet asap because if you don't they will not survive much longer. but if you are looking to do something at home then all you can do is keep them warm, and just keep feeding them every 2-3 hrs. also try a different bottle because the nipple on the bottle may be to big or to small, and if that isthe case then they won't nurse if they can't get enough or won't nurse if they are getting to much, giving them to much can cause then to drown. try doing that and if that does not help then you will need to take them to the vet, sorry about what you are going through.

They are miserable. The humane society will take them off of your hands and will not charge you anything. The puppies may have to be put to sleep, but that decision can be made by professionals. You, obviously, have a good heart and the best interest of the little guys in your mind. Let professionals handle the stress and the situation and know that you have done all that is within your power to do. Good luck.

I really doubt you have no vet to get to, every place has a vet.

You need to get them to a vet ASAP, if you tel them what is going on they may see the puppies and bill you at alater time.

My moms chiuhua got pregnant about 2 years ago and she wa shaving trouble getting the puppies out so she called a vet and told them she was afraid she was going to die or the puppies were and she was broke but they agreed to take my moms dog and perform a C-section and have my mother pay later

i would give the mom moe calsum and wrap up the pups in a warm pbleanket but them in a pet taxie together with a little bit of milk and take them to the vets. if the mom is/was that mean i would sugest on getting her fixed after the pups are old enought to be sold. she shouln't be that aggressive once fixed. i would also see if there a local pit bull bread around your area and ask them question on what to do to. TAKE THE POOR THINGS TO THE VET!!!

why did you breed your poor old dog if you had no vet to get to for help and no money to care for the pups! And why after loosing some are you only asking for help now! Shame! If Mom has mastitis she can die of calcium deficiency! How do you know Mom has Mastitis if you can't afford a vet. Shame!

It is hard raising puppies on a bottle. I am so sorry this is happening. They must have been very weak from birth. The other 2 probably will not make it. You have done everything you can for them. I am so sorry.

hey there,
I'm all for taking the puppies to the vet, but make sure they take in something to drink and try to get them to eat. Why do you think the mother eats them?
good luck
